Our office staff works hard to ensure patient comfort and convenience. To help you better understand our office operations, we have included the information you need about our hours, locations, appointments, insurance acceptance and billing below.

Appointments
We see children by appointment only. If your child is ill and needs to be seen, same day appointments are available. Please call for an appointment before bringing your child to the office.
If you are not able to keep a scheduled check up appointment, we require 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to a child on our waiting list.
We recommend that you schedule your child's physical examination at about the time of their birthday. This will allow you to avoid the rush during the weeks prior to the start of school and summer camp. There may be a longer wait to get an appointment if you require a particular time or date, or if you want to bring in more than one child. In order to provide the best, individualized attention to each child, we do not schedule more than 2 children per family on the same day.
Insurance and Billing
Our office accepts all PPO insurances. Dr. Miller and Dr. Ouchi accept HMO insurance through the Cedars Sinai Health Associates IPA.
Payment Options
Patient co-payments are due at the time of service. We accept all four major credit and debit cards, as well as checks and cash.
You will receive a monthly statement which includes patient responsibility portions for other services. We are required by our contract with your insurance company to discount our fees to their allowed amounts. These contracts prohibit us from offering further discounts either up front or by waiving patient deductibles, co-payments or co-insurance amounts.
Facilities & Equipment
Our on site laboratory is CLIA certified. We perform routine well child blood and urine screenings, as well as cultures and rapid screening for Strep, Influenza and RSV.
Our waiting room has a separate area for children who may have a communicable illness.
